Students earning a letter in FFA must have completed two full years of FFA membership, having actively participated in competition in all four semesters AND met one of the following criteria.

• -Have qualified and advanced to state competition on either an LDE, CDE, or SDE.
• -Earned the Lone Star Degree – (eligible after 2.5years)
• -Having been elected and served a full term of officership beyond the chapter level (District/Area).

Jackets will only be purchased if the student has not previously lettered in another activity. Therefore, we do not purchase FFA logos or letters/patches for a student who has previously earned a letter jacket in another activity. The student is responsible for purchasing all patches and lettering on the jacket.
